• Sacro-femoro-pubic angle correlates with spine-pelvic parameters in a Lenke classification-specific manner. • In Lenke types 1 and 5, sacro-femoro-pubic angle positively correlates with lumbar lordosis. • In Lenke type 6, sacro-femoro-pubic angle negatively correlates with pelvic tilt bilaterally. • Regression models provide quantitative estimates for clinical assessment of sagittal balance in adolescent idiopathic scoliosis.
