• Therapeutic carnosine supplementation restores antioxidant defenses and attenuates pulmonary vascular remodeling without affecting right ventricular pressures.
• In vitro, carnosine inhibits hypoxia-induced PASMC proliferation and migration, partly by suppressing Nrf2 accumulation.
