A novel biomarker SNHG11 promotes tumor progression and oxidative phosphorylation in clear cell renal cell carcinoma

• SNHG11 is a methylation-associated lncRNA significantly correlated with poor clinical outcomes in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (KIRC). • SNHG11 promotes tumor proliferation and progression in vitro and in vivo, enhancing oxidative phosphorylation via increased ATP production and altered mitochondrial function. • SNHG11 expression is associated with somatic mutations in BAP1 and PBRM1, suggesting crosstalk between epigenetic regulation and genetic alterations. • SNHG11 represents a novel prognostic biomarker and potential therapeutic target for KIRC.
